Mojo Productions<\/h3>

Llyr Morus (TAC Chair)<\/h2>\n

Llyr is Managing Director of production company Cynyrchiadau Mojo Productions and has been on TAC Council since 2022. Llyr Morus started his career working in production 30 years ago \u2013 working initially on light entertainment before moving into children\u2019s television and then to Drama.\u00a0 As a producer his recent credits include Un Bore Mercher\/Keeping Faith 3, Cyswllt, Fflam, Dal y Mellt and Hafiach for Vox Pictures.\u00a0 His career has seen him work in the independent sector as well as being a staff member at BBC Wales and BBC Studios.\u00a0 Llyr is a keen advocate of developing talent within the industry.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Iestyn Garlick – Honorary President<\/h2>\n

Iestyn has held an expansive career as an actor, producer and television presenter. Iestyn has also been known as the \u2018voice of the Stadium\u2019 making announcements at Wales international rugby games since the early 90s, until 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TAC Council appointed Iestyn as TAC Honorary President in recognition of his work, dedication, and significant contribution to TAC and the independent production sector in Wales. The role of the Honorary President is to support the aims and objectives of TAC and to ensure as high a profile as possible for TAC in the broadcasting world. Iestyn is also Chair of the TAC Technical and Operational Subcommittee.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Gareth Williams<\/h2>\n

Gareth has been Chief Executive of Rondo Media since 2008. \u00a0Rondo is one of the largest independent production companies in Wales with production bases in Caernarfon, Cardiff and on Anglesey.\u00a0 Gareth started his career as a BBC trainee producer in 1998 and joined independent production company Opus in 2001 where he produced several documentaries, music and event programmes.\u00a0\u00a0 He was appointed Chief Executive of Opus in 2006 before being one of the founding directors of Rondo two years later.\u00a0 Gareth has worked as an executive producer and co-producer of content for a wide range of broadcasters and has been a juror for the International Emmy Awards.\u00a0 From 2018 until 2021 Gareth was Chair of TAC. \u00a0Gareth is also a director of Yeti Television and Aria Studios. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Sion Clwyd Roberts<\/h2>\n

Having previously worked at ITV and as Head of Media at a commercial law firm, Sion joined Rondo Media in 2016 as Commercial Director with oversight of all legal, compliance and business affairs matters across the group. Rondo Media is a major Welsh independent media company with offices in Cardiff, Caernarfon and Menai Bridge. Rondo Media produces a range of sport, drama, music, events, factual, entertainment and co-produced content for S4C, BBC, TG4 and other commissioners. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Recently appointed as Cwmni Da Interim Managing Director, Bethan joined Cwmni\u00a0Da in 2007, managing the administration and finance teams before her appointment as Director of Operations in 2017. Leading the company\u2019s transition to an employee-owned business in 2018.\u00a0 Bethan is responsible for\u00a0all operational and Board level aspects at Cwmni Da. Arwyn Evans is the founder and Managing Director of the independent production company Darlun, which is known for pushing the boundaries of storytelling. Phil Bayley-Hughes<\/h2>\n

Phil Bayley Hughes\u00a0is Technical Director at Chwarel, a North Wales-based production company, and also works as a freelance editor. With nearly three decades of experience in post-production, he specialises in offline and online editing, colour grading, and designing efficient technical workflows for both broadcast and digital content. His work spans a wide range of genres for UK and international broadcasters, including S4C and the BBC. Formerly Head of Post Production at Antena, Phil is also passionate about studio and live production, bringing creative insight and deep technical expertise to support high-quality, scalable delivery across factual and entertainment formats.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Telesgop<\/h3>

Ffion Rees<\/h2>\n

Ffion has worked for production company Telesgop since 2014. Starting with the company as an editor, working on the weekly magazine series \u201cFfermio\u201d and on other documentaries\/series for S4C, BBC and Sky Vision.\u00a0\u00a0 Ffion also works as a radio producer, working mainly for BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio Cymru and BBC Radio Wales.\u00a0 Her radio work has included a documentary with the original cast and creative team of the 1981 Cats, the musical and an exclusive interview with Sir Tom Jones, recorded during lockdown, celebrating his 80th birthday for BBC Radio 2. A documentary looking at the impact of HIV\/Aids on the West End Community and a dive into the Vietnam War through the prism of Miss Saigon.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ffion is now the Managing Director of Telesgop and is an Alumnus of the Goldman Sachs and Oxford University 10,000 Small Businesses programme.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Carys Owens<\/h2>\n

Carys is a successful creative entrepreneur and founder, now leading Whisper Cymru part of The Whisper Group. A champion of female leadership and representation in TV and sport, she leads a 30-strong team producing award-winning documentaries and major live broadcasts \u2014 including full coverage of the upcoming Women\u2019s Rugby World Cup 2025 for the BBC. \u00a0Carys brings valuable insight into scaling a production company, attracting strategic investment, and building a sustainable, inclusive business model within the fast-evolving UK media sector. Through initiatives like the Whisper Academy and creating inclusive production teams, she continues to drive change across the creative industries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carys was elected as a full member of \u00a0TAC Council in 2025, and is also a member of TAC\u2019s Technical and Operational Sub-Committee.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Slam Media<\/h3>

Aled Llyr<\/h2>\n

Aled is the Director and co-founder of the Slam Media company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He began his career in broadcasting in the early days of Derwen in Llandeilo in 1988 as a golf commentator with the sports company Delta 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following this, he was a presenter and researcher on Opus TV education series and after the Plas Dinefwr initiative came to an end – came to Cardiff companies – Elidir, Alfresco and back to Opus (after a year with Dime Goch) After a short period associated with Indus, Slam Media was established in January 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During that time he produced all kinds of programs – sports, education, children, entertainment, satire, comedy, documentaries and events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Slot Sadwrn, Pelydr X, Y Brodyr Bach, Sul y Ffon and Dudley to recent productions such as megis Y Llinell Las, Cyfrinachau\u2019r Llyfrgell and some of our biggest mass events such as the Cardiff Half Marathon, Ironman Cymru, Eisteddfod yr Urss and the Sioe Fawr in Llanelwedd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slam now employs a staff of 14 permanently and produces a wide range of programs in all kinds of areas for S4C, BBC, ITV and TG4.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Naomi Afan Ormonde<\/h2>\n

Naomi Afan Ormonde is Creative Director at the family-run Welsh indie, Afanti Media. Over the last 15 years she has worked across production and development, with a particular focus on factual, entertainment and digital propositions. During her time in development, Naomi has secured exclusive competitive access, built strong on-screen talent relationships and developed internationally selling returning formats – leading to some of Afanti\u2019s most acclaimed commissions, including Life Drawing Live with Joe Lycett<\/em> (BBC2&4), World\u2019s Biggest Cruise Ship<\/em> (Channel 4), The Perfect Pitch<\/em> (Channel 4), Y Wal Goch<\/em> (S4C) and D\u0175r Du \/ Dark Waters<\/em> (S4C\/BBC Wales with Off the Fence distribution).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, she has also pivoted into the digital landscape, developing innovative propositions using Afanti\u2019s live credentials and state-of-the-art facilities. Her work includes high-profile YouTube live watch-alongs for Euro 2024<\/em>, BBC Sounds podcasts such as Nigel Owens: Dan Bwysau<\/em>, and a slate of short-form and talent-led digital projects – including the social format that won Best Social Format at the Edinburgh TV Festival New Voices Awards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Naomi now leads Afanti\u2019s creative vision, guiding its multi-genre output and supporting the growth of one of Wales\u2019s most established independent production companies. Rachel Evans<\/h2>\n

Rachel is responsible for overseeing Boom group\u2019s multidisciplinary operations and she has 30 years of production experience, having begun her career as a journalist for the BBC before going on to oversee a range of factual, children\u2019s, live events and drama content in both Welsh and English in Cardiff and London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boom is one of Wales\u2019s largest production groups. Employing  around 200 staff and annually producing and delivering 400 hours of multi-genre content to UK and international from their headquarters in Cardiff Bay, which is also home to the post\u2011production company Gorilla. Boom Group\u2019s credits include Y Llais (S4C); Priodas Pum Mil (S4C); Iaith ar Daith (S4C); Stwnsh & Cyw (S4C); 35 Diwrnod (S4C); Creisis (S4C); Men Up (BBC1); Big Zuu\u2019s Big Eats (UKTV\/Dave); Alan Carr\u2019s Adventures with Agatha Christie (C4); Skin A&E (C5) and Hot Cakes (BBC Three\/BBC Wales). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
